Rosemarie’s Great Grandparents ‘broke in’ a farm on the rugged west coast of NZ, which was then farmed by her grandparents and their family. Due to many reasons her grandparents’ family, as a family, made the tough decision to sell their part of the family farm. Other ‘arms’ of the family still own pieces of their original family farms to this day and enjoy the family legacy, stories and memories of life growing up there, family holidays, and all of the extended family gatherings (all descendants of her great grandparents) are still held there. Many of our generation have an inexplicable fondness for and attachment to ‘home’.

Rosemarie has lived on farms and in cities, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant over 25 years ago. Her career has taken her on a wonderful journey helping families and business entrepreneurs and owners with their accounting matters, managing staff in various roles, to becoming part of senior management of organisations. She has worked for many different types of organisations from family businesses to large global manufacturing companies, retail, service providers, not for profit, local government and central government organisations in NZ and Australia. Rosemarie became more interested in relationships and their effect on organisations and families back in 2002, when she began her journey towards dispute resolution and changed career direction in 2006, when she mixed the accounting profession with her new dispute resolution accreditation to pursue her passion for all things ‘family’ by working with business families, having the benefit to work with one of Australia’s leading family business guru’s, Jon Kenfield (from the Solutionist Group).
